The fascination with analogue photography begins with the first contact with the darkroom, opening the way to the countless possibilities that photography could provide. Curiosity led to experimentation and the exploration of new techniques and materials, and that’s how Dissolutum Corpus came about. This is a project that brings together some of the experimental works carried out over the last few years, where the unknown and the improbable are the keywords common to all these projects that are interconnected in a cloak of experimentation.
The search for the unexpected and unpredictable results is the motive that leads the artist to make it, and the focus is not on the photographed element (despite the evident presence of the body in some images), but on the deconstruction of the support.

Patrรญcia Figueiredo, photographer and student of Conservation and Restoration, was born in November 1997 in Lisbon. Graduated in Photography and Visual Culture from IADE-Creative University since 2019, her career in the area begins at the age of 16 when she enters the Photography course at the Antรณnio Arroio Art School. Conservation and restoration appear in her life when she did an internship in the area after completing her degree, thus influencing the decision to start a new stage in Conservation and Restoration at FCT NOVA, where she currently studies. She has already participated in the 6th edition of the Lisbon Photography Book Fair, at the Lisbon Municipal Archive, with a photobook of the โCrystalisedโ project. In 2019 he participated in the Streaming Pictures of Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Fotografie at the Cologne Museum, and in 2022 he participated in the exhibition Xโ19-22 with the project โ
