In-sect workshop

Canadian artist Teresa Ascencao will offer free one-hour art workshops called “In-Sect” at schools, community centers,or any individual who wishes to participate.

During the In-Sect workshops, participants of any age will make miniature insect artworks from memory and imagination. The idea is to reflect on what we know about insects and how we can develop our relationships with them. The artworks are created with simple available materials, including leaves, strings, sounds, and manual gestures.

If desired, the artworks created can be part of an exhibition in Prisma Estúdio on May 30, where Ascencao is currently a resident artist.
